Our Movies in the Park series offers a free, outdoor movie night each month beginning in May 2015 and running through September 2015. This seasons movie themes include family, children and comedies. Pack some snacks, grab a blanket or chair, and come watch a movie with us! All movie ratings are posted with the title. Movies begin at dusk! (Come early – time will vary monthly)

music will begin at 4:00pm and will continue until the Fireworks Show at 10:00 pm.
Food vendors will be providing a wide variety of your favorites so there is no need to bring any food or drinks with also be back for kids to enjoy!

The festival is designed to provide public awareness of the disabled communities in the area as well as a fun opportunity to get the family out for festive activities. Activities include: music, food, games, and vendors. The Patricia Neal Innovative Recreation Cooperative will host a water ski venue for the day. Festival
of Friends is hosted by the Lenoir City Pilot Club and the Lenoir City Parks and Recreation.

[fancy_header3]4th of July Parade[/fancy_header3]
This year parade will be held on Saturday, July 4 . We will be kicking off the parade with our annual Firecracker Run. This is a half-mile fun run for children ages 5-12. The run is free and the first 100 children to register receives a free event t-shirt. Top prizes will be given to the first place boy and girl from each division. Participants for the parade or race can register by calling the Lenoir City Parks and Recreation Department at 986-1223.

Local businesses, church groups, schools, civic groups or anyone in the general public are welcome to enter a team(s). Teams must provide their own ice cream, tables and chairs, tent (optional) and decorations/props to set up their booth. Parks and Recreation will provide serving spoons, cups and napkins and voting ballots. The winner will be voted on by the public and will fun PR for your organization.
